Matt is an experienced leader with over 25 years in the creative industry. Leading high-performing creative teams in collaboration with world leading agencies, to land purposeful brand transformation through award-winning advertising, brand design, product packaging, retail experiences and digital content. In 2022 Matt joined Avon (Natura & Co) as Global Creative Director. Accountable for transforming the global brand visual identity, comms and packaging in collaboration with partner agencies VML (Wunderman Thompson) and Free The Birds. In 2018 Matt joined the John Lewis Partnership as Director of Creative, leading the 240+ in-house creative, design, store design, communication and production teams for the John Lewis and (in 2020) Waitrose brands. In collaboration with Pentagram London and Adam & Eve DDB, Matt was accountable for the new brand vision and identity for John Lewis, from tv/digital advertising comms, vm, product packaging, own brand design, editorial content strategy, print, magazines and art direction. In 2021 he also lead the creation of the bold new ANYDAY brand which (at the time) was the most successful full category own-brand launched in John Lewis's history. In 2017 as creative director, Matt successfully lead the rebrand of global direct fashion brands Boden and Mini Boden. In 2018 his in-house creative teams worked in partnership with BBH London on the successful digital transformation of the brand, which launched across UK, US, Europe and Asia.
