We burst into 2024 as VML, a new agency following the merger of Wunderman Thompson and VMLY&R. Year one saw us focused on building out our integrated solutions, combining creativity and technology to deliver unmatched value for our clients. This approach resulted in an 8/10 overall client satisfaction rating and our proud retention of all pre-merger clients. Notable successes included long-term partnerships with HSBC and Boots, yielding substantial ROI and effectiveness award wins at prestigious industry events like the Effies and IPA awards.

VML's integrated model, underpinned by WPP's $300M investment in AI, drove a 68% increase in award wins compared to the previous year, including six Cannes Lions and 4 Grand Prix. Organic growth was also strong, with 29 existing clients adopting new capabilities. A commitment to diversity, inclusion, and employee development was evident through various initiatives, including the Incubator and Catalyst Academy programs, community partnerships, and targeted programs focusing on underrepresented talent.
