Chris Kay

Since joining at the end of 2021, Chris has had a huge impact on the agency, putting the 52 year old company on a mission to make Saatchi's the most influential creative company in Modern Britain.

It’s been a strong year - he’s revamped the leadership team, appointing Jess Ringshall as the company’s first Chief Production Officer, promoting Franki Goodwin to CCO, and moved the agency into a high-performing squad model. With the leadership team, Chris has launched innovation in the business and broader industry, introducing digital ad builder tool Trinity, unveiling the revamped New Creators’ Showcase in partnership with Channel 4, and launching Upriser, the agency’s open-sourced national curriculum.

He's led the company on a record-breaking year of new business wins, challenged the industry with the rebirth of the Pregnant Man ad, and helped bring the swagger back to Saatchi’s creative output including on-line hate-challenging work for EE for the Women’s Euros 2022, the world’s first NFT for good for Deutsche Telekom, and an industry first Marvel partnership for Direct Line.

Alongside his success at Saatchis, he has also been appointed CEO of Publicis Groupe UK’s Creative Practice, overseeing Saatchis, Digitas, Leo Burnett, Publicis Poke, Octopus, PGOne and Turner Duckworth.
