Kate Bird

Kate was appointed Senior Director, EMEA Marketing at Snap Inc in July 2023, where she oversees the EMEA Marketing team and leads the brand plan to inspire and educate consumers, advertisers and agencies on Snapchat's growing community. Prior to this she was VP of Global Consumer Revenue at Conde Nast responsible for the revenue growth of Conde Nast's global brands and subscription models, including Vogue and GQ, in over 30 markets around the world.  Kate is an enterprising, and commercial marketer with over 20 years experience in leading marketing teams within media and publishing organisations. She started her career in marketing at BBC Worldwide back in 2005, driving subscriptions across multiple BBC products. Since then, Kate has taken on marketing roles for brands including Coral, The Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Sun, where she held the role of GM and CMO for three years. In this post, Kate received a commendation from Scotland Yard for her contribution to counter terrorism.
